Starting from our strong industrial markets like railway and automation projects, we see huge opportunities for machine tool industry.
The linear rails, telescopic rails and actuators made by Rollon ensure proper function and improved performance of machine tools. Industrial machines are supposed to guarantee efficiency in the production process: machining centers, cutting machines, painting machines, and machines for processing wood or marble must be able to run smoothly for long periods of time, often with demanding cycles and in critical conditions (presence of liquids, process residue, contaminants or corrosive substances). Problems during operation or machine down time result in loss of efficiency and additional expenses. Each component must, therefore, contribute to the optimal operation of the machine, and ensure maximum reliability, considerable simplicity during assembly and/or replacement phases, and reduced maintenance.

The future challenge of our industry is that we have to develop products which really fit to customer’s needs. The automation of industrial process is a very important factor. Everywhere we find new applications and new challenges to develop and to produce new solutions.
R&D plays an important role in our industry domain. As I have mentioned already before we realize already 35% of our sales with customized products. Beside these activities we always make an effort to improve our products, to develop new products according to the application needs and to provide complete system solution.
Q. A complete range of solutions for machine tool Industry.
Solutions for several linear motion applications for industrial machines are available through the use of Rollon linear rails, such as lateral sliding of protective devices, the movement of control panels or the movement of tools in machining centers. Rollon products have the ability to absorb misalignments, especially the rails in the product family:
Compact Rail ( Linear line): They guarantee important advantages to industrial machine manufacturers in applications of this type. They make it possible to lower the costs of uniforming the surfaces of machines, which are often irregular, or to manage movement efficiently even without a rigid structure: under these conditions, an excessively rigid system would not be able to operate correctly. Further-more, the use of ball bearing sliders makes it possible to maintain excellent quality of sliding even in the presence of process residue or contaminants (sawdust, powders, etc.).
Telescopic Rails: Manufacturers of industrial machines, to manage the extractions of compartments or components from machines during maintenance, can instead use the Rollon telescopic rails. The Telescopic Rail family, in particular, is used in the field of heavy duty extractions. Its high load capacity is guaranteed by hardened raceways and reduced deflection, which allow maximum efficiency and complete ergonomics, with extractions of up to 200% of the length of the rail.
Actuator Sysytem Line: The acquisition of the Italian company Tecno Center has allowed Rollon to consolidate its own know-how in the field of Cartesian robotics and integrated mechanical solutions to create the Actuator System Line, the product line dedicated to industrial automation that offers several solutions for machine tool automation. Offered in the Actuator System Line, Carte-sian systems with multiple vertical axes are widely used to automate machining centers. Vertical axes can be independent, thanks to the rack and pinion drive on the Y axis, or they can be coordinated amongst themselves with rigid connections and paired with a short belt drive on the Y axis.

We have started with our direct sales activities in India with complete logistic operations. The next stage plan is localization of assembly processes in India. To follow the market needs of Indian customers, we are building a team to provide a very good local service. we always believe in being a local company, following the local markets and individual needs. You will find us present on different industrial fairs in India in order to strengthen the brand awareness of Rollon in India.

Our Product Range is divided into three main lines :
Linear Line – The product range includes linear caged ball bearings and recirculating ball bearings rails, with different profiles and types of sliders.
Telescopic line – The product range includes full and partial extraction telescopic guides, available in different rail profiles and features like load capacity, rigidity and smooth operation.
Actuator line – The products range includes linear units available in different typed of belt and ball screw driven models and configurations, with high load capacity and precision.
We at Rollon work continuously on design and development of new products, R&D plays an important role in our industry domain.
