The Smoothkut range of metalworking fluids is based on our in- depth understanding of the metalworking industry and processes. The range encompasses hard and soft water-based fluids that can be customized for various uses. Here are some real-world examples that demonstrate our expertise and problem-solving approach –

    A leading orthopedic medical device manufacturer faced critical issues with their existing cutting oil, including rust formation on machine beds, excessive consumption (1:30 top-up ratio), bacterial contamination in the coolant tank, and foul odors due to tramp oil accumulation.

    Our Smoothkut Pro 8100, a premium macro emulsion water-soluble cutting oil, was introduced to enhance performance. With excellent bio- stability, effective tramp oil rejection, and improved surface finish, it resolved all major concerns. Our client experienced rust-free machine beds, reduced monthly coolant consumption, extended sump life beyond 8 months, improved working conditions for operators, customer expanded the usage to 8 additional machines and placed a long-term order.

    An aerospace manufacturer was experiencing reduced tool life and concerns over high coolant costs. Our Smoothkut Pro 9100, a semi-synthetic coolant designed for aerospace-grade materials, offered excellent anti-foaming properties, stable emulsion in hard water (up to 500 PPM), and superior tramp oil rejection. Resulting in increased rust protection up to 72 hours, 5% direct cost savings and 50% indirect savings, enhanced tool life and machining efficiency, client placed an order for production-scale implementation

    These case studies demonstrate how Molygraph’s metalworking fluids are engineered to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity. By continuously innovating, we ensure our customers achieve superior performance across various industries.
